Shoes

I used to buy all my Clarks from QVC because I could order a wide in my size and the shoes would fit right out of the box.  I was delighted with all of them.

They're wearing out and I need a new shoe wardrobe, but I'm wary of ordering online.  Stores don't sell them in wide, unfortunately.  Clarks fans, is it still a safe bet to order them from Q and expect them to fit well?

I think the last pair of clarks I purchased were the cloud steppers from a local store.  They were comfortable.  However, I just ordered a cute pair of sandals from HSN a few days ago.  I will update when I receive.  They shipped yesterday.

As a fellow wide footer, I see a lot of wides on the Clark site.

One thing that is very, very evident is that QVC has limited selection to a much lower price point.  No idea if they are seconds or "made for QVC".

I believe there is always some risk with ordering shoes. However, I realize some people are unable to get out and try them on in a store so their options are limited.

I found their shoes to be unreliable in sizing and comfort so I stopped buying them.

Unfortunately, I had to stop purchasing for the same reasons.😔

    Have an old pair of Clarks  closed toe sandals that I bought at a QVC outlet atleast 15+  yrs ago.  They are in great shape  with little wear  . I rotate my shoes alot so    most of my shoes  still look nice. There's a Clarks  outlet  store near me and  of course that style , I could not find which was the same on QVC .

 I did not see the quality  at the outlet store styles as my old sandals.

Thanks everyone.  It seems quality is way down across the board and ordering online is so chancey.  I'll probably end up driving to the Clarks store.

I was at the local Skechers store and couldn't believe how haphazard the shoes were.  Size 9 too big, size 10 tiny, wide too narrow, regular too wide - I was spinning in circles!  Skechers have become very hard inside too, and weird things like the Arch Fit line not having arches. Crazy.

QVC is such a big buyer from Clark's so that they get exclusive items and colors. Everything that I have bought from QVC for Clark's has been first rate, I always buy the wide.

I have bought boots, sandals, and everything in between. I wear a size 10 1/2 and I have never changed that size because of the shoe. They have been absolutely consistent. I am very surprised at what people have posted.

Not bought Clarks in long time, but I remember they ran small. I fell in love last week with the HSN TS and it was a fabulous deal, so they are on their way to me, time will tell.
