I have slip on with velcro in black, and these need a good, deep washing. The wipe method is not going to get these clean. I'm very tempted to drop these in my washing machine on gentle cycle. Has anyone done this with good results?
I pretty sure Vionic slippers aren't made to be washed. I wouldn't try it unless I was willing to trash them because I'm guessing that's what would happen.
I have not washed them in a washer, but I have used foaming fabric cleaner, like Woolite rug spray, rubbed it in well, let it sit a few minutes, then wiped the slippers as dry as possible with paper towels and put them in the sun to dry for a day or two. I've always been afraid they'd disintegrate if I washed them in a washer. If you give it a try, please report back on how well it worked, I know I'd sure wash mine if I could!

I sure will Camille....I'm probably going to do it in my machine. I have a new model without the agitator...and lots of delicate cycles to choose from. I mean seriously, I put lotions all over my feet, I wear these outside to let the dogs out, in them for long periods at a time etc etc. I even found dog hairs stuck inside them...these gotta get a GOOD cleaning. I would let them dry outside in the sun. Anyway, maybe others who did it, will post on their results.
@Dazlin You definitely can wash Vionic slippers in the washer. I have two pairs; have washed both. One even has a "jewel" on the top. I put them in a lingerie bag and used the hand wash or delicate cycle. Dried in the dryer for about 10 minutes then set them on top of the dryer to air dry. Can't recall how long it took to dry them, but they came out as good as they went in.

YAY...THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY!!...I'm going to wash them today!!
Alrighty, I washed them in my machine. I put them in an old pillowcase on normal cycle. They came out just fine. Still had to pick off a few dog hairs, but they held up perfectly. I'm going to wash them in a mesh bag next time, so the water can flow through better. I didn't have one or I would've tried it, as suggested here. So now ya know, it's safe!
I filled up the sink with warm water, put laundry detergent in it and let my Vionic slippers soak in it for a while. Then I hand-scubbed the material, rinsed them, squished out as much of the water as I could, and then put them outside in the sun to dry.
@Dazlin...I'd like to offer how I was my Vionic slippers. I spray the footbed liberally with Spray & Wash and let them sit for maybe 5 minutes. I then put them in the washing mashine on delicate cycle (no spin) and wash them on warm. I then let them air dry, preferably in the sun.
