Getting Birkenstock shoes repaired

I love all of my Birkenstock shoes.  They all but 3 pair came from QVC when they used to sell them.

I have over 80 pair of them.  Mostly sandals but some clogs, Mary Jane And other designs.

They were stored in my rec room in plastic tubs.  A pipe leaked and messed up a few pair.

The water caused the cork to turn up and shrink.

One pair I had to throw away.  I recently got them out and now I discovered another pair that is messed up.

The problem is that they are one of my favorites.  They are red, white and blue.

I had some similar but I saw Paul McCarthy wearing a pair just like them.

i think I found a company that repairs Birkenstock’s.

Has as anyone here had their Birkenstock’s repaired?

Thanks ahead of time.😻

About five years ago, I had a pair of my Birkenstock sandals repaired. My cork was damaged and missing in some areas.
They replaced the cork bed. It was like having a new pair of sandals.

They sent me an estimate for the repair before they did the work.
No problems with their work. I think I paid around $65.

Re: Getting Birkenstock shoes repaired

@deeva @Was it the same place I posted.

I think you can type you just can’t make it a touch on link.

The place I mentioned isn’t a store but a place that repairs Birkenstock.

The pair of shoes I had to throw away had the cork permanently turned up and shrunk the cork.

I don’t care what it costs, I love those shoes.

Thanks for your help.

It is Paul McCartney from the Beatles.  He had a pair of Birkenstock like my favorite ones.

@Annabellethecat66

I hope you get your shoes repaired.

I just have to ask this, and I don't mean it in a

snarky way:

You have eighty pair of Birkenstocks?

Re: Getting Birkenstock shoes repaired

@Annabellethecat66 - If you go on the Birkenstock website, they have a large section for FAQ.

Under "Product Care" there is a link at the bottom that says "Show more".  Click on that and look down the list for "Repair".  It gives you a "store locator" option to find somewhere near you that does repairs.

I'm curious about your red, white and blue Birkis.  I have a pair that I got from the Q years back, with stars and stripes.  I love them and was wearing them yesterday.  I was also thinking, if anything happened to them, I'd have to get them repaired!

Re: Getting Birkenstock shoes repaired

I have used Birkenstock for cork foot bed replacement on one of my favorite pairs.  I agree with other person who posted flawless & like a new pair of shoes.

Re: Getting Birkenstock shoes repaired

Probably 15+ years ago I had a pair of Boston Birks resoled and whatever it is they do to the cork to make the shoes look brand new.

Fortunately there was a Birkenstock store right in my neighborhood. They handled sending them off for repair for which I paid $67.00 at the time.

I highly recommend using an authorized Birkenstock repair.
