Gas problem........

I had a very unfortunate encounter with a gas pump today while wearing a BRAND NEW pair of suede Born clogs. Gasoline all over one shoe. Miraculously it didn't leave spots but the smell is horrible. How can I get it out without ruining the suede? These shoes were too expensive to trash! TIA
