For Those That Own B Mak Bags

My BFF is having a birthday in June. I am browsing for a nice handbag for her. I have read more than one review that B Mak bags scratch easily or the dye comes off because the leather is not dyed all the way through. I believe the term may be drum dyed? To those that have used B Mak do you share this experience? Thank you.
