? For Experienced Orthaheel Wearers

I just got a pair of the Orthaheel flip flops the other day and I'm not sure how long it takes to get used to them or how long the break in period is. I have problems with my feet--flat and slight bit of arthritis. One foot is worse than the other and that foot, in particular, seems to feel very awkward in the Orthaheels. Is it just a matter of getting used to them? I have to say it seems to turn my foot over in the other direction. Will this work out or have a gotten a pair that's defective?
