@Thats Me

Well . . . Just received the latest Birkenstock catalog. Disappointing! They do NOT have the wool clogs this year.

Instead they are selling shearling everything. I purchased a shearling pair of Arizona sandals last year since I do wear sandals all year long, but have to admit that shearling is too warm for my feet to breathe comfortably!! I could not wear that pair of sandals in the lower level even on the more bitterly cold days of Nebraska weather. They are good for trips to the library or grocery store! Some in the catalog are covered in shearling and not very attractive. Hope Birkenstock returns to the tried and true merchandise they have sold for years: the wool clogs!

Glad I mentioned the Haflinger line. It's top notch!

@BirkiLady @Yes thank you again for mentioning them! I will check them out.

I'd think the shearling lining would be too warm, also affect the fit. I'd sweat them out, ewww! Lol. They sound so nice, but they're just not for me.

Enjoy your Birks of old! Fortunately they do last nearly forever!

@Thats Me Most of my Birks are not that old. I keep recycling the old when I purchase a new pair!

How does one justify having 75-95 various pairs of sandals plus a few various clogs at any one time? Thus, the old have to go!

Don't forget I do have a few other brands and styles in my closets, although I don't wear them often. Smiley Happy
