Florentine Vachetta Double Pocket Question

Hi Ladies. I checking out my 'as is' bags, deciding which are my favorites to keep. Does anyone have the Double Pocket Florentine Vachetta bag?

Mine is dark brown and the top appears to buckle a bit around the leather corded edging - it's difficult to describe but it does appear to be in the photo on the QVC site, too. I just want to make sure it's normal and the waviness in the bag top around the zipper is normal. Other than that, the bag is great. Heavy enough to speak quality and the leather is delish.
