Florentine Drawstring

My black Florentine Drawstring purse arrived yesterday! I love it! It is so beautiful in person. It has feet and a nice adjustable shoulder strap. The interior has all of the "new" pocket design (bright red fabric lining with black leather trim). The topstitching is in black too, so it all accents really nicely. The drawstring is a bit stiffer right out of the box than on my Dillen II drawstring, but it is not overly cumbersome. It closes securely. I think the leather will soften up some as it ages, so it will work out fine.

Now, I have my eye on the Chestnut and Moss colors in the Florentine. I have to see who to trade in to make it happen. Hmmm...

I did order the new wallet-on-a-string from the Vera Bradley shows a few days ago. The Camilla (I know I spelled that incorrectly), so I think it will be nice inside of my new black Dooney. I will know for sure when it arrives soon!

BTW - I exchanged the Large Pocket Satchel (Florentine) for the Drawstring. This is much lighter weight (IMO). Not sure why. I would like a Medium Pocket Satchel though. I saw it in one of our local department stores and I really like it.
