Florentine Chestnut vs Natural?

Hi Ladies! I am going to order a Dooney Florentine Satchel but can't decide between the chestnut and natural. I really love the natural...but I am afraid it will show stains and scratches more than the chestnut. Does the natural have a finish at all or is it unfinished like the trim/straps on a lot of the dooney bags? I have a bag that had the unfinished leather trim that I just sent in for a trade in after being caught in the rain and leaving terrible water marks all over it. I would love some feedback!
