Fixing espadrilles where the sole is just starting to peel away

has anyone ever tried to fix this common problem with espadrilles? What sort of adhesive did you use.? Thanks

Shoe Goo glue is made just for that kind of thing.

I've had many espadrilles through the years.  I've used both Shoe Goo and Super Glue.
