First time ordered Clark’s (A709649) - Sizing

I have always worn a 10M.  Received these shoes today I can't get my foot in them - do Clark's run narrow.  Guess they'll be going back

Thank you

@homedecor1.  I wear an 11M and have always ordered and worn my regular size, except I got disgusted with the quality and have been buying Orthoheels instead.

@Kachina624

thank you i thought of exchanging for 11M but I think the 11M would be too big for me.  I'm going to return them but they are a nice looking shoe!

I have long been a loyal customer of Clark's . . . until the last year or two. I even made a trip to a department store to try the shoes on - I had to go up in size and even then they were a bit tight. I've given up on Clark's, it makes me sad, the quality is not there though the pricing does NOT reflect that.

Re: First time ordered Clark’s (A709649) - Sizing

I am so tired of inconsistent sizing!  All the brands are Terrible at sizing. Clarks, Vionic, Skechers, White Mountain, Ryka, and on and on and on.  None of them provide consistent sizing.

What is so difficult about creating a single standard size and having every shoe made to that size?

I can't tell you how many shoes I've had to return to QVC because the Brand Ambassador and Show Host said the "shoe was fit true to size."  Wrong......If true, why do I have sizes 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 in my closet?

Re: First time ordered Clark’s (A709649) - Sizing

I used to buy Clark's all the time. I have a narrow (AAA) foot and was always lucky to have their narrows fit. I don't believe they offer narrows any longer and, between them being too wide and the quality suffering so much, it's been years since I've been able to wear them. I actually wear a 10.5, which is next to impossible to find. Why on earth do the shoe people think a half size shouldn't be available? Most all other sizes are available. There's a big difference between 10.5 and 11, especially if they're wide!
