Not speaking strictly in terms of VB, as I don't buy the brand, pretty as some summer bags are, I have no real desire to own them and have not historically bought any of the pricey florals, summery patterns or pastel leathers, though I do have a few lower cost summery bags. I too prefer the more fall and winter styles and colors. I really don't need any new bags, ever again, to be honest. At this point, my goal will be to buy no more until at least fall and then, perhaps, budget permitting, I'll consider a new style or two.

Can anyone suggest the brand name of a bag that is similar to VB but not as costly? I wear a lot of solid color clothing and think a fabric bag would be nice, but I don't even want to pay $60 for one.

Bella Taylor - at bella taylor.com or at bells department stores. Just as good quality as VB but much less pricey.

On your recommendation I ordered the Buccina in Toscana red. Ordered on Sunday, delivered on Tuesday. Gorgeous bag. Great Italian leather at a super price. I will check the site regularly for my next clearance deal. Thank you!

Ordered the Chiarra also in Toscana Red through Amazon from floto. $10.00 cheaper. Should arrive tomorrow. I have not bought a bag in about two years. I think two in a week is enough for now. Could not pass up these deals.
