Hi Ladies,
After endless frustration with dye transfer on light colored leather handbags and wallets I finally ridded myself of these bags and opted for PVC (Vinyl over Canvas). 2 days ago I purchased a gorgeous L.A.M.B. Tote in cream PVC thinking - PVC = more durable, less prone to dye transfer, and easier to clean... Boy was I a fool !!!
Ok, so I dont recommend this on leather but if you have a PVC (Vinyl over Canvas) handbag/wallet, you *may* want to try discretely testing a non-acetone nail polish remover on any dye transfer. I used one by BUTTER London and while the transfer is still there, I have to strain my eyes to see it.
Good Luck, I hope this helps someone.
