I was just looking to see "previously on air" and saw that Vionic has a Chelsea boot.  

It seems that everyone is selling Chelsea boots these days.  

I put Chelsea boot in the search box above and got 29 hits. 

I checked my shoe collection .... found four more that I bought a few years ago.

I just looked to see what they are.  They look too heavy and chunky for me.

Most of the current batch are clunky.  The ones I have are from a few years ago - before the thick heel/sole trend.

Back in the day those were called "Beatle Boots"...b/c that's who made them very popular then.

They are super popular this fall.  I like the look a lot but I cannot wear soles that do not bend.  And most of the chelsea boots and even sneakers, that have those thick soles do not bend enough for me to comfortable.
