OMG! Dooney is now using "NYLON" instead of leather for thier key leashes! I'm sure they're saving "TONS" of money, it "CAN'T" be that the nylon is more durable than the leather for this purpose. The nylon makes the inside of the bag look cheap! This is a "DEAL-BREAKER' for me!
Hello!!! Dooney makes nylon bags for goodness sake! If nylon on the outside apparently doesn't look cheap, how can a strip of it on the inside look cheap?!? Sheesh, I wish they would just eliminate the key leash altogether so I wouldn't have to hear another complaint about something so trivial! While Dooney will repair the leather thongs if they wear through, I think the point is that they want to provide the custormer with materials that will last the life of the bag without needing repair. The original bags didn't have linings or a darn key leash!
I can be a bit a-n-x-l about a lot of things, this just doesn't happen to be one of them.
Thanks for letting me vent, and if this IS one of your things...hey I can take it, I've got my big girl panties on!
