I just bought my first Dooney... the Logo Lock... and it has the red checked interior. Why do some have the red lined interior and some the red check? I'm asking because the coin purse that came with my bag has the red lined interior(that's what it looks like to me) and I'm not sure I'd like it as the inside of a whole purse. I love the feel of the fabric, red checked and the red lined is kind of plasticy.

The kiss lock is lined with the coated cotton so that it's easy to wipe clean.

The logo lock interior is a pink check interior.

Dooney now has lots of different interiors depending on how long the bag has been around.

Ok, I love this interior so much I was a lil disappointed to see what I guess is coated cotton in others. Anyway thanks... I'll give the others a try too. I'm sure I'll love them just as much

The red lining in the handbags isn't usually coated, it's just regular cotton. The red cotton lining is the norm in the Flo line and I have a few of those bags. My Santorini leather also has the red lining. I like the red and the check lining in the logo lock. I don't like the chevron lining though.

I probably like the red so much because I tend to get leather colors ( like black) that look great with it when you open the bag.
