It will be a big success because they're very popular......personally I don't care for celebrity-endorsed clothing or bags....I don't usually wear camo anything. Nothing wrong with it, I ust don't wear it....

The "duck" has long been a logo for the Dooney line So I guess it just follows that they would embrace a more commercial duck theme in these new bags. For sure, they're not for everyone. Personally I like the older white and blue bag (not part of the new line) that I posted below.

You are talking about them LOL. Yes, they are popular whether you admit it or not. Dooney is thinking of money like every other business these days. You don't have to buy it if it is not your taste. It isn't mine but to each his own.

Of course, if Dooney alienates enough other good, long term customers with this line then whatever short term profit they derive from this error in judgement (yes, in my opinion) could well be negated over the longer term. A few years down the road, it seems likely whatever popularity this bunch might currently enjoy will wane... Dooney did just fine without them and should likely have thought about this choice a bit more.

It's my understanding that the people at Duck Dynasty eat the ducks. If I'm wrong, I apologize. I don't know, perhaps all of you do.

I've never eaten a duck. I know people who love duck. I don't eat much meat. I have nothing against people who do. I do like some filet mignon, yum.

When I was a kid (I'm now 68 years old) my grandma would visit relatives from from the country and come home with a live chicken. Eventually she'd kill the chicken, cut it's head off and cook it.

I was a 'city girl'. My grandma raised me, so it's not like I could get away from it. I'd open the door and there'd be a hogs head in the refrigerator. There are people who eat pigs feet. So what?

If you don't like the way the purses look, don't buy them. I think it's that simple.

I don't watch Duck Dynasty because I find it boring and stupid because these people are no longer poor and the idea that they live like people who are is stupid.

I own several Dooney purses. If I see one I like, I'll buy it. I have neighbors who use bow and arrows to kill deer in neighbor's yards. I told them if I see an arrow in my yard I'm coming after them. Do I not talk to them. NO! They eat the deer meat and everything else they can use. They don't need to, they like it.

So what?

I still don't understand at all what the big uproar is about......if you don't like the bags, don't buy them....nobody cares.
