While at the mall yesterday, I stopped in at Dooney. (It's a teeny little store) The greeter was friendly and chatty... another woman was doing paper-work at the computer behind the register.

I saw an Alto section and was walking towards them, when I saw the Florentine satchel behind the register on a low shelf, and asked to see it.

From that point, their attitude changed. I asked about upcoming Florentine styles, and was told a few more would be coming out " in the Fall.......LATE Fall." (!?)

Then I asked if there would be any accessories for the Florentine and was told NO.

Even the person I was with thought it was almost as if they were trying to discourage me from asking questions about that line. Up until then it had been a pleasant visit.

It was very, very odd.
