Dooney & Bourke Nubuk Leather O-Ring: Question

A239432 Dooney & Bourke Nubuk Leather O-Ring Sac

I purchased this bag this morning (EZ pay) and I am not familiar with the Nubuk material. I got the chesnut and I liked the idea of a wide single strap and the "frame" that the bottom of the bag was constructed around. I am 5'2" and the hostess showing it was a small person and it didn't look as though she was running away from home with all her worldy goods like some bags do when she put it on.

My concern is: does the Nubuk shed or stain easily?

I only know the pebble grain and the cabriolet finishes.
