Dooney Patent (and Coach too)

Does anyone own any of the lines in Patent? I have seen several pieces and every single one of them eventually seems to lose a corner or two. They completely wear through and the bag then looks beat to h*ll and back, very unattractive. I would be beyond P*I*S*S*E*D if I spent that kind of money on these purses and had that damage take place.
