Lisa specifically called the brown snake ""matte"" as opposed to the cream snake. So the cream snake has a little more shine than the brown.

Thanks for all your replies. Sounds like the Cream Snake is shiny but not too shiny. I just prefer more of a matte bag, that's all. I was hoping that with a little wear, the Cream Snake would fade just slightly. It is a beautiful bag either way. Just a matter of preference. I prefer grey and taupe bags so thought the Cream Snake would be nice. But they were sold out so I got the Brown Snake. So we'll see.
