Re: Do you size up or look for another brand?

@MeadowLark

If you still have the Easy Spirit shoes, check to see if the insoles are removable.  If they are, you might consider purchasing different insoles.  I have been using Vionic inserts but many people like the Dr.Scholls insoles that are available in many stores.

I really like Ryka's with the Catalyst bottom and find them to be quite comfortable without replacing the insoles.  Take a look at  A93035 ~ Ryka Suede Lace-Up Walking Sneakers - Catalyst here at QVC.  They are offered in solid black.  QVC doesn't carry 10-1/2 wide but other stores might as I think Ryka might actually make that size.  I probably really am a 10-1/2w but always go with 11w.  Most of the time it works but occasionally end up exchanging for 10w.  With these walking shoes, the 11w was a bit big and probably would have tried the 10w had I not been frustrated with the overly short shoelaces. If you are wanting black shoes, it would be easy to replace them with longer laces.

If you want to try that walking shoe in a size 10w, there is a black pair currently available in the "as is" section for $32 + $5 s&h (A269104).  Most "as is" shoes are in brand new, unworn condition, some might have been barely worn. They can be returned for any reason. If on the off chance you get really used/gross/defective items, you can return them for free.

Another shoe I really like and wear frequently is A295142 ~ Ryka Suede Slip-On Mules - Catalyst Mule.   Unfortunately most of the wide sizes are gone but perhaps thisstyle is available  elsewhere.  In this shoe, the size 11w fits me perfectly, both with and without socks.

Good luck with your search.  Hope you find something that makes your feet happy😀!

[ Edited ]

I sent the easy spirit soar style shoes back no reason for me to keep them since they hurt so much.    Seems like lately that when I find a total black shoe for work the sizes are either 10s or 11s no half size and 10s in a pair of new balance my big toe touches the top so that makes me think I need a bigger size
