Yes, we carry everything in Florida. We have almost no rules, down here. Winter, summer, spring and fall; we just mix the fashions up. We have a freedom about this thing. We are not whiteaphobic, or seasonally challenged. It's all good here.

Cathyshopper, I think your question is a good one, and I've wondered myself about "winter bags" in warm climates. If you live in St. Thomas, VI, do you ever carry a "winter" (dark leather, croco) handbag? I live in Atlanta but I am from "up North" and was taught, "No white shoes after Labor Day or before Memorial Day," taught to match my shoes and handbags and that "ladies always wear little white gloves." Fast-forward to now: I've dropped the matching shoes and handbags, and I no longer own any little white gloves, BUT I am mindful of "winter" and "summer" accessories. I personally would not wear a dark croco bag in the summer here. If it were white, I might consider it -- depends on how "heavy" it looks. Even though the climate here is a lot warmer than where I lived before, we still experience definite "seasons," so winter is still winter, and that's when I pull out my dark "winter" bags. If I lived in a year-round warm climate, I imagine I would reprogram my brain to do "whatever" (or do as the others around me do).

My advice is to save the bags you love, including the croco, regardless of "winter" or "summer." After all, who knows how long you'll live there ... you might decide to move to Alaska after all that warm weather!

These bags are made of leather and stamped with croco so there is no fear of being attacked by a crocodile thinking you have abducted his wife but they will eat small humans and have been known to ring doorbells in Florida.

Yes bring all your favorite croco bags, I live in Louisiana and i have a lot of Brahmin bags and a lot of them or croco bags. My most favorite colored croco bag is Pecan. My sandals in summer are all different colors like brown and black and i wear my croco bags with them. In-fact i don't like white purses or shoes or sandals. I only own one purse white and only one white pair of sandals just in case. So bring them and enjoy the South, just get ready for the hot humid weather we are about to have.

I live in South Florida and always wear my croco bags. I have several Brahmin bags in various colors and carry them all year round. Wear what you love.
