Do You Really Use the Accessories?

I have several D&B's that I purchased from the Q, most with accessories. I don't use any of them. I have a set of keys, but I never use the key rings, must have 8-10 of those. Then there are the coin purses, credit card holders, I have a wallet that holds all my credit cards. I would rather have just the bag with a discount than all the add-ons that I don't use. I have limited my Q purchases, because, the bags are the same price as B&M's. Most stores offer free shipping over 100.00 which Dooney's meet. So you are automatically paying 10.00 more through the Q. Even the Dooney website offers free shipping over 100.00. So unless it is a color or style I can't find somewhere else, I stay away from the Q. I like the new chevron TSV, but I saw it in a store and it's just too big for me. Just wondering if others would like the bags without all the add-ons at a lower price?

I absolutely use the accessories. I love that I have a house key in every bag on it's own leash and that I'm not paying any more for the added accessories than I would for just the bag alone. I think Dooney at QVC is generally a good deal for me.

I throw away everything but the little pouches.

I find those handy for protecting assorted electronics.

No I don't use them nor do I want them. It's Dooney's and QVC way to say something is exclusive and jack up the price. I don't see why they don't lower the cost of the handbag and keep there trinkets that they claim that we are given free--lol.

I am always thinking the same thing! Why can't they skip the coin purse or whatever it is, and key fob and just give a great deal on the darn purse....or at least make it an actual wallet! I often wonder this with MANY Q items, because they will have regular retail pricing....maybe if we are lucky, some items you don't want thrown in....why wouldn't I save myself the S+H and pick it up locally....oh well actually I do.

I ordered the hobo because I liked the turnlock accessory...of course it was MISSING from my shipment!

My favorite is the kiss lock accessory that comes with the hobo lock/logo. I love that one.

I too find the pricing here largely non-competitive and will seek sale pricing and free shipping more times than not when buying Dooney. I also rarely use the 'free' add-ons. All those key rings are pointless though I do tend to find uses, though rarely all at the same time, for the little pouches, glass and cosmetic cases... And frankly, I too would rather skip the little extras and get better pricing. The only accessory I'd really like to have is the kiss lock that comes with the Logo Lock bag. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the Logo Lock and really don't like the lining, so won't be adding that bag, or the kiss lock, anytime soon!
