I watched Shawn earlier and now a host who I don't know her name, anyway - looking at the sandals, they look flat - no support? Most of their styles; the shoe bed doesn't appear to have any support? For the price, I think there should be some sort of support.. I own a pair of tie shoes for jeans from this line and there isn't much support - I put an insole support when I wear them. What are your thoughts? Thanks... some are really cute, but I have high arch and need support.....

I can't honestly say whether they do, but one of the major reasons I haven't purchased them is because they don't look like they do. Glamourous, possibly...comfort, I'm not so sure.
I wonder of Sam tests them out himself. ![]()

@Sunniegirl. There are hundreds of manufacturers of "fashion" sandals who make a very expensive product consisting of little more than a thin, flat sole and a few straps. Not only is there no support, there is little cushioning, making walking feel like going barefooted. If you need support, there are many other more practical options. I'd skip the Edelman shoes.

Have tried them on at my local TJMaxx and, sadly no support.

I call shoes like that "museum shoes." not because I'd wear them for a day walking a big museum, but because they belong best on a display shelf rather than on my feet!

Thanks - I think I will stick with my Vionics and Earth brands.. You are so right!

Sam Edelman shoes are more fashion than comfort. I find their shoes like ballet flats don't have very much support. Sam Edelman is one of the brands owned by Caleres which is the corporation that rebranded themselves from the name Naturalizer a couple of years ago. Between QVC and HSN they sell a lot of their brands like Sam Edelman, Naturalizer, Bzees, Fergalicious, Ryka and Dr Scholl's.

No support at all!

I was watching Shawn present with Libby the Gigi thong sandal. They were carrying on about how they redesigned the shoe to have so much support and padding because the first prototype didn’t have enough. It didn’t look like there was room in the shoe for much padding, it was pretty flat.
