Do you like Dearfoams slippers and casual indoor/outdoor footwear?  They are similar to Uggs,  made of suede, with a shearling lining and memory foam footbed.  If you're a Costco member, access the Dearfoams store via Costco Next.  Some nice prices there on several styles and they have holiday slippers too. 

Edit to clarify - the lining can be synthetic or genuine shearling, depending on the style.  Read the details.  The holiday styles are not genuine shearling.

I love Dearfoams slippers! Was looking for some indoor/outdoor boot slippers and I found these on Walmart dot com (I don't have a Costco membership) so I bought them right away. So warm, comfy and washable! I know these look like regular outdoor boots but they are not. They are definitely slippers b/c they don't have the rigid structure of a regular boot. Size up if you get them.

The site suggests sizing up like you did.  Can't imagine normally an 8 so need to order a 9/10 I guess.

My shoe size is 7-wide so I got the Large (9-10) so I can wear a thick sock and still have some room.  I think you'll be good with the Large.

@Kachina624 - it depends on the style.  Some say descriptive words, which would be synthetic, but there are those with genuine shearling too.  I got a lined pair that look like a short ankle pair of Uggs that can be worn indoors and outdoors (not winter snow boots, though) - suede, genuine shearling, memory foam footbed.  $60.

I know some people who have genuine sheepskin slippers and they love them. But they cannot be washed. I had a pair of sheepskin slide-slippers and loved them. They started to get funky b/c I had them for so long so I tried to wash them. Big mistake. Had to toss them after that.

I think I'm going to get some suede spray and a suede brush for mine.  I really want to wear them tonight but I may wait so I don't risk getting them stained on the first wearing.

Also, you can order some things from Costco.com (not sure if those Dearfoams @JeanLouiseFinch  is talking about is online) even if you aren't a member.

The prices may be more. I think you ordered that Bioderma Micellar water from there (I'm still waiting for that deal to come back!)
