I am so upset! I ordered a beautiful Dooney with the two pockets in the front in natural color. It's a $400+ bag, but I got it on Easy Pay. I think it retails for close to $500. I was SO excited the day it arrived only to open the box and find the bag had scratches all over it. I boxed it up and sent it back. Today the second one arrived and it wasn't wrapped the same as the first one and I thought oh no! Well this bag was worse then the last one! Scratches deep in the leather and on the bottom there were 3 black lines on the leather. It almost looked like someone did that with a Sharpie. I was furious! I called Customer Service and they are sending me out a third one ASAP! I sent the other one back today as well. I have ordered several Dooney's from QVC and NEVER had this problem before. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a Quality Control issue with QVC or Doonay and Bourke. If this bag is damaged, I'm giving up and getting my money back. I just love the bag and it is really beautiful. I could get a lot of wear out of it. Thanks for letting me vent!!

I'd not accept the one with deep scratches and dark markings either, but if the scratches are superficial that's more or less the norm for Florentine. Even going to a store and selecting your bag might not net you a bag with absolutely pristine leather. Minor, superficial scratches though, are going to typically rub right out and are almost unavoidable. Hope your third bag is the charm.

I can relate to your frustration and disappointment.....when you were so looking forward to your gorgeous bag as shown in the photos. Presumably your bad luck was a fluke and your third bag will arrive in great condition. Fingers crossed for you!
