I just bought the D&B Zip Top Satchel in black with the brown trim and love it! Can someone tell me the difference between the colors navy and marine. I wanted it in navy but it isn't offered and the colbalt is a little too bright for me. I called their CS and was stold the color marine is a light blue but it doesn't look like that on the website. Thanks for your help.

I just looked at the Lexington small shopper at my local Macy's. One of the tags said "Marine". It was an extremely dark color, I guess a dark teal with slightly more blue than green. It was almost black. Not sure if the "marine" color looks like this on all their bags because this is the only one I've seen in person.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the rep you talked to was new and got Marine and Ocean blue confused. Ocean is lighter and brighter than Marine. There's also Agean, which is lighter and brighter than both of those.

Thank you. I agree with you both. It seems to me like she was describing Ocean instead of Marine. I like Ocean but the Marine does seem dark. This purse doesn't seem to be offered in Navy, at least not yet. I just really love the size. I have thought about the cobalt but I think it might be too bright. I'll have to get out to Macy's and hopefully they will have all the blues in stock so I can see the difference.
