Comfortable walking shoe/sneaker

what is the most comfortable walking shoe or sneaker you have? Looking to buy one for an upcoming vacation to italy. I do need a little arch support- recommendations please!

Skeetchers Go Walks. Sorry can't answer anything about arch support as I do not have feet issues.

Personally, I would walk into a shoe store & try on many "walking" sneakers. Walk, skip & jump around the store if you have too. Only you can decided which shoe is comfortable since you need a little arch support.

I think the worst thing you can do is buy new shoes for a vacation. Take your most tried and true walking shoes with you. Then enjoy shopping for something new in Italy.

New Balance sneakers work best for me. I have flat feet, and my foot is well supported.

I second Merrills, also Keens are sturdy and comfortable. I agree with the poster who suggested trying on quite a few pairs then break them in before your trip. If you have an REI near you I highly recommended trying on there. As an outdoor supplier they have better quality products and great knowledable staff.
