Wanted them soooooooo bad but high S&H is a huge turn off. So I went looking and found them at Macy's got free S&H plus 30% off friends code, PLUS I had $50 in Star Money with their CC and I ended of paying $84.

that is wonderful. I always check other sites. I also check amazon and shopstyle.

This past week Nordstomrack had Barefoot dream throws for as little as $45. I learned about that on shopstyle. They show deals for multiple sites.

The more customers who find other places to shop, the more QVC will have to revisit their loyalty & shipping policies.

I always check other sites before I buy at QVC, but I do the same to Amazon, Target, Costco, etc... I will frequently buy from other sites (even if the price is slightly higher) something that I was looking at on the Q because of free shipping and easier, no cost returns. When you consider those costs it is often cheaper elsewhere.

@rms1954 That was a great buy. All my best purchases for clothing or shoes come from Macys. Petite sizing is consistent and the shoe sales can not be beat.

@rms1954 Those are super comfy boots. Enjoy! I took a chance of them at QVC when I first saw them because I couldn't find them anywhere else for less and I didn't want to take a chance on missing my size and color. The boots are great, and they have been my favorite footwear since they arrived, which was fast! QVC Clark shoes are shipped directly from Clark's, not QVC.

But I didn't understand your discounts. The boots are $128 regular price at QVC. If you used your $50 credit (without a 30% discount), that would bring the cost of the booot to $78. Buy you said you paid $84, and that is with the credit AND the 30% off.

So curiosity took me to the Macy's web site and their price for the boots is $180! It is the same exact boot! So the 30% discount would have brought the $180 price to $126, just $2 more than QVC.

So Macy's has phony sales...

Shame on Macy's...
