I ordered the Clark's A273317 Espadrilles and like the style however, they ARE NOT true to size.  I've worn Clark's for years and have always bought the same size 8 and these shoes are short and narrow in comparison.  I'm very disappointed and am sending them back.  It's too bad I have to pay for return shipping when they were advertised as ....true to size.

Re: Clarks Leather Espadrilles

I ordered these in a half size smaller because someone posted they ran big. I should have ordered my regular size because for me they run true to size.

Re: Clarks Leather Espadrilles

I can wear either 6.5 or 7 medium in Clarks, so I wasn't sure about sizing either.  I ended up ordering the red (LOVE!) in 6.5 and I'm wearing them today.  They were just a little snug when I put them on, but they're already stretching out and feeling much better!  So give them a chance before you send them back, especially if they're only a little snug.  If you can't actually get them on, however -- well, that's another story.  Woman LOL

I've always worn a 5.5 and these clarks are at least a half size too small.  Sadly, I will have to return.

Mine are still inbound on the pony coming across the prairie.  Your comments are worrying me.

I ordered my regular size and they are too big.  The length is fine, but they are too wide.  I'm a true medium and ordered medium.  Mine have to go back too.

I too have always gotten the same size in Clarks and they always fit great.  These run a little short on me.  I'm thinking that they may stretch out a little - I'm hoping anyway.

Re: Clarks Leather Espadrilles

I sized down a 1/2 size based on a review and they are plenty long.  The leather is soft, the silver color is very pretty and the shoe is mostly comfortable.  When the toe box stretches a bit, they will be perfect.

Re: Clarks Leather Espadrilles

Perhaps I should have worn them longer.  I loved the red color and the style yet, I also value "out of the box" comfort. Up until this point, I've never had to break my Clark's in, so may have to change my thought process.  None the less, a beautiful shoe!

Re: Clarks Leather Espadrilles

I wonder if the Clarks sizing is off because it's a TSV. I noticed in the last year that all of the past QVC TSV Clarks sandals ended up at Winners in Canada (and I bet they were also at TJ Maxx and Marshall's as all 3 chains of stores are owned by the same parent corporation TJX).

I even tried on every sandal in a size 8 -- there were about 5 different styles like Hayla Cavern and none of those sandals fit my foot. They were too narrow and too long and the footbed didn't fit the contour of my feet. They just didn't seem up to Clarks standards in the way they fit.
