LL Bean has some nice inside/briefly outside slippers you might like.

I have a pair of scuffs and a pair of flip-flops, both with sheep fur linings.

go to 6pm.com and search house slippers. This company is owned by Zappos, where u can also search house slippers and see reviews. 6pm is their outlet and less expensive.

I agree. I'm never without my Isotoners in the house, year round. I prefer the ballerina flats with the suede soles, which are washable. They're getting harder to find though as most of them have the plastic soles now.

Equally important is to work on the ability to balance when moving. There are classes for this which also train you in the best way to fall.
