Brahmin made in China

I just wanted to let you all know that I have been talking to someone on eBay about a lovely Brahmin wallet. Although it is clearly marked with a label in Massachusetts, the owner finally told me after much questioning that Brahmins have been made in China since at least 2007. I find that very disappointing, especially since I've seen the enthusiasm in here over Brahmin and the fact that a lot of Dooneys are also made in China. I also found out that Michael Kors are all made in China.

I'm beginning to think the only leather goods made in Italy, France or Spain are Louis Vuitton and Chanel. I've been educating myself on Louis Vuitton for some time and do own a few, but I'm new to Chanel and don't really want to pay $$$$.
