Bordeaux vs Crimson

These colors look almost identical on the Dooney website. Can anyone explain the difference? I have seen Crimson in person, which I loved...but the Bordeaux swatch seems very similar. My local Macys did not have any bags in this color. May use a trade in to pick up a satchel in one of these colors or natural.
