Booties have been my favorite footwear style for a loooong time.  They were popular in the 90s - when I got my first pair.

Whenever I see a style I like - I buy multiple pairs.

I just went and counted how many pairs:  17 is current count.  Arizona Boot Company makes some of my favorites.

Not a fan of flat foot.  Sorry!

Nope, these are not for me.

They are too clunky looking and would make my feet look too big.  I prefer my foot coverings to be feminine, not something Herman Munster would wear....and no way to those pilgrim shoes.

Woman's fashion is getting silly looking.

Not all booties are flat or clunky.

@ALRATIBA I agree with you.  Love my booties but don't want them clunky or with big lug soles.  I wear them constantly in fall and winter.  Just moves the seasons forward for me and gives me a break from the flats and sandals.

@Jk9

Most of mine are Arizona Boot Co. brand.  I found pics online - the rest of my collection are similar styles.   I have them in colors to match all my pants.  Some a bit "dressier" than others.

I also have two pairs (one brown, one black) that are "tooled" similar to  cowboy boots.

I have seen some I really like but have never bought a single pair for myself.  Like today getting up in the 80's it just seemed a waste of money when so many winter days here in Texas are sandal days.  Most of those were really cute but that second on reminded me of March 17th St. Patrick's Day.  Just needs to be green.

Any days cold enough here for boots I pulled out my Justin Ropers.

I love boots, but I don't care for these. I'm not a fan of the thick chunky soles on most of these. The only exception is my snow boots for actual snow have a thicker sole. I don't like the medallion on the blue pair or the fur covered one either.
