I needed a new pair of sandals with support.  I ordered from Amazon, Birkinstocks Milano Habana.  They have the heel strap.  I received them yesterday and I am wearing them around the house today to see if they fit and are comfy.  I really did not want the heel strap but with my balance problem I find that I do not feel secure in non strap sandals anymore.  So far so good, the only thing is the back strap will be a pain for me to hook and unhook, but I will deal with it as I am really liking these shoes.

Posted this in case anyone else might be interested in this type of shoe.

@Imaoldhippie    Thanks so much for the review. I love Birkenstocks and have been considering a new pair.  I prefer the heel strap especially if I'm going to do a lot of walking.  I'll definitely be looking to see what colors are offered.😊❤️

I love birkenstocks and it's all I wear. I have the 3 strap sandal and the clogs.  I always buy the soft footbed and find them to be so comfortable.

Birkenstock stopped selling on Amazon several years ago due to fakes.  No authorized vendors there.

Love my birks, embarrassed to count them.  But only buy from their site.

The arch on Birkies, even the soft footed, is so hard and so high, that I get a huge blister on the underside olf my arch.  I can't wear them at all.

Birkenstockdotcom is the only on-line place I would purchase Birkenstock footwear. I do purchase a lot from Dillard's and a sporting goods store near my home. Like another poster, Birkenstock's are my primary choice of footwear since I stopped working (and gave away all my heels and matching handbags to charity).

The count is obscene, but I rotate them at least once per day and wear a different pair 365. Thus, my Birks remain in like-new condition and are ultimately taken to a consignment shop when I don't have enough closet space for the older pairs that haven't made it into rotation!
