I have many Birkenstock and it is not easy to find 5 1/2-6. Every shoe show seems to have Vionic and feel they are getting rid of Birkenstock. That would be a shame. Check out the clearance items and some are always being reduced.

Zappos.com, 6pm.com, amazon.com.

There are so many places!

I saw quite a few styles at Famous Footwear. It may be worth perusing their website, too. I wish Q would bring them back! Birkie's are the best.

I just got these a few days ago in the gray/pink. I already had them in the three strap version so I knew what they'd look like. I love them. They don't photograph well at all, but they are really cute. I also got a pair for my sister for Christmas.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

At least they're made in Germany.

I was looking at some Birkenstocks today in a store, and noticed that the Papillio's are "licensed by Birkenstock," which sort of tells me they are made in China(?). The (official) Birkenstocks are still made in Germany.
