I just noticed a small area of blue stains on a pale pink glove leather handbag. I think it is probably transfer from blue jeans. I haven't carried the bag in a while, so I didn't know they were there. What is the best thing to use to remove these stains without damaging the bag? Any advice appreciated. ??

Re: Best way to remove stain?

Some have had success with a magic eraser but be very gentle and don't scrub too hard. Others have used a little rubbing alcohol. I've heard that hairspray has worked for some. Good luck. I hope you find a way to remove those stains.

Re: Best way to remove stain?

Magic erase just ended up removing the handbags dye and not the transferred dye on my bag. I would not use it again. If you decide to try it, do a test spot in a place that won't be seen.
