I too only wear uggs because of the natural sherpa lining. No socks and my feet stay warm and toasty in winter. Now, I must go down one size because my regular size is too big without socks. Found that out when I decided to ditch the socks with the uggs but thats just me.

They're made to be worn without socks. I never wear them with my sheepskin lined boots or slippers.

They are prettier than UGGS.  You don't look like a cavewoman in them. 

Several different colors to choose from and several different fur linings to choose from.

You have a choice between the half way up calf or the lower ones.  You can wear them up if you don't want to see fur or fold them down. 

So comfy.  Size down if you're a half size.  I'm 7.5/8 and get size 7.  And my feet are wide.  So less of a troglodyte look....lol.

Again, water proof, made in USA and the most important thing to me is no animal was trapped, killed and skinned.

I love these boots.

The only footwear I have with natural sheepskin are 2 pair of Minnetonka's, and I never wear socks with them. The feel of that warm and cozy lining is just too good! I ordered a pair of the Lamo boots and probably will not wear socks with them.

Bearpaws are natural sheepskin lined- just like Uggs! Lamo that seems to vary the lining. 

I won't buy the faux fur/acrylic lined items, instead of your feet being 'sheepskin warm '  they sweat.

Socks, it's too cold not to here.  I got the Bearpaw TS & they are wonderful boots btw.  I don't have to wear socks with my original Uggs from years ago & still have.  It's a personal preference & odd question.
