Hi! Anyone tried BB or S yet? I am curious to find out if they are pretty good. Their selection is pretty decent and for those who get bored with a bag fairly quickly, it doesn't seem too bad to "borrow" a designer bag for $ 100- $200 /month (versus buying one for more than $1K). Any feedback you can share will be much appreciated!

I have purchased from their sales. I have been very pleased. Items were as described and in very good condition and service/shipping excellent. Have been tempted to borrow but haven't tried it yet.

I could see buying a pre-owned high end bag, but have no desire whatsoever to 'rent' one... Different strokes, I guess...

Never heard of it but I would never rent a bag. I suppose that service might attract someone who is trying to pretend to be someone she isn't, to put on a show for someone. Which is very sad. The joy of owing your dream bag is that it is YOURS, even if you only carry it twice a year, you know that bag belongs to you.

I would never rent a high-end bag. I would just save up and purchase it and keep it forever.

I don't think borrowing a high end designer handbag is a sign of a character flaw. Not everything that is posted here requires counseling! I think if I had a "once in a lifetime" opportunity I would borrow a high end bag. For ME not for YOU! Not that I want to own one but for this occasion I want to go all out....just this time. People, it's not about you...it's about me!

Another thing to consider.... before you purchase a very expensive bag, this is a way to test drive it to be sure it meets your needs and expectations. I've often coveted a handbag (although not in the thousands of dollar class) and once I own it and use it for a few days I discover it's not ideal for me. I would hate to have spent $$$$ for a handbag I'm not in love with.

I am admittedly a germaphobe and there is no way I would pay money to use a purse that someone else already used. NO WAY. Think about the dirty hands that were already inside that bag - and your going to put your personel stuff in there. EEEWWWW.

BTW, did you see the first S** and the City movie? Jennifer Hudson played Carrie's assistant who rented a bag from BB&S. Had to edit that "S" word since it's not allowed. Personally I like the idea of "roadtesting" a very expensive bag and they do thoroughly clean all the bags before they are sent out to other renters.
