B. M. Shoes...Experiences?

I am wondering why all the poor fits, sizing, materials? In reading reviews there is common theme...So cute, stylish, but problems such as inconsistent sizing, poor lasts (forms) being used & shoes fit strangely, and the materials are not of very high quality on some shoes. I have ordered 3 pair, and only one worked. These shoes are so expensive, I would expect top quality all the way around.
