As Is missing accessories problem

Someone I know worked at the DB outlet near me. She told me that often they send back unsold bags to DB & DB in turn sends their overages to QVC. Some never came with the additional accessories & on the web site for DB I see they sell their bags without the extra things. I wonder if this could account for some orders being sent out without the things that the description lists as coming with our order???? So, customers at QVC perhaps are not keeping the accessories-they never came into QVC with the add on items.

Re: As Is missing accessories problem

Interesting to learn how these companies work. No wonder I rarely drive out of my way to go to an outlet.

And I'm probably one of the only buyers who has never once actually used one of those QVC accessories. My first Q Dooney was a denim bag which I've used so often, it's starting to show age -after 10+ years that doesn't surprise me. It came with a wristlet which I eventually used, brand new, as an "envelope" for a Bas Mitzvah check. I've never used any of the others I bought and no longer pay attention when they're offered.

If the bag itself isn't worth my buying, it's not worth my buying.

Re: As Is missing accessories problem

Could be, although the few as-is Dooney bags I've received lately without accessories, were clearly QVC bags because they came with some promised accessories, just not all of them. The wristlets seem to be a popular item for some to keep when returning a bag. I just got a blue satchel that is a 'QVC only' bag. It was missing all the 'extras' but kept it because the bag was in good condition Recently returned a palomino bag that had the key fob but nothing else. It was returned because it was damaged goods...

Makes sense.

They're definitely bulk unloading these Dooney bags from somewhere other than just our ordinary QVC returns.

Sometimes there's a whole fresh mega-batch of bags and apparently in good quantities too. It suggests they're receiving dumps from wherever it is that doesn't want them.
