Are the heels still being worn that the sole for front part of the shoes was at least 1" high?

I think they were red on the bottom too.  I'm not sure. It's not what I'd ever worn, but I just haven't seen them on women on t.v. lately. Maybe they still wear them, and I just haven't seen them being worn. Anyone know, and if not, wonder why.

Christian Louboutin shoes? Maybe they stopped giving them away for free. LOL They were everywhere, on men, too. I hadn't noticed that I was seeing as much of the red soles, but you are right.

Platform shoes have a sole that is higher than usual and many designers and brands make these. Red soles are the signature of designer Christian Louboutin shoes and appear on boots, heels, platforms, etc. that are made by Louboutin.

I am definitely still wearing a platform on my heels because that is the only way I can stand to walk in heels that are 4" high and above ;-)

The Christian Louboutin red sole shoes have been all the rage for the last few years, but based on what I'm seeing from fashionistas across the globe, a lot of girls are putting the CL's in the back of the closet and wearing brands like YSL and Valentino..talk about classics!

I have been very fortunate to inherit some gorgeous designer shoes from my MIL whom has fantastic taste and no budget.  However, when I buy shoes, I happily support brands like Jessica Simpson that create a designer look on a Marshall's budget.  Shoe styles go in and out of fashion so quickly that I just cant justify spending hundred, or thousands of dollars on something that will be on the way out within a year.

All in all, I can honestly say that I cant think of any style of shoe that is "out of style" right now.  The Barbie pumps from the 80's are back in, platform heels, round and square toes, Doc Martens and chuck taylors...anything goes this year!!  Wear what you like and what you feel good in :-)
