Anyone have this problem with Vionic slippers??

The lining on the inner sole or footbed is wearing out.  I noticed there are 3 small holes in the fabric...exactly where the ball of my foot would be  and the toe area.  I can see the hard rubber sole piercing through.   Gosh...for high price of these slippers I expected better lasting quality.   I purchased these about 6 mos ago.   I just this week bought another pair...but, honestly,  had I seen this I would never buy again.    So, please pass along any suggestions on what I can do to continue wearing these...an insole??  Or throw them out if they get too uncomfortable??     Anyone have this happen?

I have a pair of his slippers, they was a TSV during one of the winter months. I have not had this problem but I don't where them every day. I have several pairs of slippers and alternate them. Based on what you said I don't think I would purchase another pair.
