Marybel often creates a 'what are you carrying this week' thread, but we haven't seen a new one since the 11th, so MB, I thought I'd try to get something going... Hope you don't mind...

As for me, I got a large black Boston bag from Rioni for Christmas and have been carrying it and loving it all week... I know, some view it as nothing more than a LV knockoff, and maybe in some ways it is, but this is a great bag with some nice features that LV doesn't even have! It's got two nice roomy side pockets with magnets, so they stay closed and are very handy and an outside zipper on one side of the bag. It also comes with a shoulder strap.

Even though by all accounts these are made (in Italy rather than France, I understand) very similarly to the LV Speedies (though there are lots of shape and size options), the price is significantly less (under $200)... Of course, they aren't LV and so don't have the cachet or some of the nice LV features, but still, wonderful bags at pretty good prices, lots of styles and a number of color options. I'm thinking about getting the same or a similar bag in cream...

Anyone else move into something new and exciting or old, well-loved and familiar this week?
