I watched the Alegria presentation at 6pm EST, 9/20/18.  The man presenting the fabulous Alegria shoes and half-boots is a really likable guy, educational and comfortable on camera.  However, I challenge QVC to count the number of times he said the word "basically."

After some time I actually could not listen to him as it was used, on occasion, even MULTIPLE times in one sentence.

Please ask him to be more aware of that word and strike it from his vocabulary.  The host started to follow his lead and use the word far too much as well.

IT IS A USELESS FILLER WORD!

Thank you.

I think asking someone to do that is offensive.

It was offensive to those it offended...for the rest it mattered not.

Do you have any idea how regulated is the speech for those on TV, whether they are on news, are commentators or who are on selling networks?

Continued repetition of a word is noticeable and focuses attention on the speaker rather than the subject matter.  Hardly offensive.
