For those interested in AK bags, be sure and check your local TJ Maxx. Mine has been offering several of her bags, some among the same shown and sold here, and the prices are quite a bit less.

I looked at the TJMaxx online website -- no Kestenberg bags there. I haven't seen them in the Canadian Winners stores either. If her handbag line which is only about a year old is all that then why is her stuff at TJ Maxx stores already unless her line is being made for TJMaxx?

Their on-line offerings are nothing like the offerings in-store. In the stores near me there are quite a few nicer brands on offer but the website, from what I've seen, tends not to be more focused on the 'nicer' bag brands. I saw at least a half dozen AK bags in the Maxx just a week or so ago. I don't think any brands are made exclusively for TJ Maxx. My understanding is that the TJX stores primarily buy overstock at lower cost from other entities. Regardless of how old her brand is, if a manufacturer, wholesaler or another retailer had more of her bags than they felt they were going to move, they might well sell lots of them at a discount to TJX.

I have AIMEE'S bag, A-236349 in BLACK. Wore it out last night (bank and then dinner) and was complimented by the banker. I told her where she could get one. It is classy and timeless. I would like the CINNAMON. The pockets are deep, 4 on the front, lining is well made and neutral in color. Was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I just ordered this little sweetie (A.K. bag). Looking forward to getting it soon. QVC offered me an EZ pay option for January. About time..I hadn't received an EZ pay offer in years.

I e-mailed the company to find out what crystal leather is: this was the response.

"This is a Brushed Pebble leather with a slight coating on top. It’s VERY soft to the hand, and has a very unique feel and look. It’s very casual and almost looks worn-in already. It’s become a favorite!"

Wow, just got this today and it is AMAZING. Has this suede type feel to it, good zippers, and great security with the zippers and fastenings. Very luxe. I e-mailed the company to see if the vino color will transfer to light colored clothing and if it will water spot, and should I spray it first. Will wait and see what they say. Cindy

MSA2004, you were so right and I am sad. I loved this bag. The weight, the size, the detail the color but not the color transfer. All of my jeans and leggings have been washed a ton of times but the color still ended up on the bag. You were so right.

I own an Aimee K. black crossbody bag in black with black suede trim and the suede trim isn't colorfast so that would be my own caution when wearing it as you don't want to have color transfer.

That's too bad. Smiley Sad I recently received another of her purses. I may return it, rather than risk the color transfer. She makes pretty bags. I wish this were not an issue.

I so agree. I was completely disappointed. I am glad you warned me though, because I looked for it and was able to send it back in the 30 day period. Sometimes I don't carry a bag for 2 or 3 weeks in a row and change out, but I did with this one because of your warning, so thanks.
