A216 491 on Clearance...

Does anyone have this AWL hobo? I am looking for something for running errands on winter days when I don't want to take out my other Dooney bags, which I tend to baby even though I know they are built tough. AWL is best for the days when it is snowy or raining and I have to be in and out of the car a lot. The reviews are mixed. The clearance price makes it tempting. I wonder why it is on clearance if it is a customer top pick, and according to the video hasn't been out that long. There is a newer one just like it for 100$ more, so I was wondering if this one would work out for me. Money saved is money toward a future buy, right? Well, unless there is something really off with this bag?
