I wear WW shoes.  I buy mine from Zappos as they tend to have the most styles and colors in that width than anywhere else.

 

Not all W and WW are the same.  I find most of my shoes are from Bella Vita.

 

For me, the higher the heel, the smaller the length as my foot slides forward.  

 

I wear an 8.5WW in heels and a 9WW in flats.

Thanks everyone for your responses.  I have learned not to order shoes online unless they are a very open toe sandal.  I don't have a hammer toe, but my second and third toe joints have become arthritic which is causing the problem of my toes rubbing on the top of the toe box.  To the person who suggested Ryka, I agree and have found they usually have a wider toe box which works well for me.
